Lymphatic System

Uncle Chuckie, the doctor said he found lump in my lymph node. Pray for me, because of everything I’ve been through.

The lymphatic system is part of your defense system, that is made up of a intricate network of vessels, valves and nodes that carry lymph fluid and help remove toxins from the body. Lymph fluid circulates through the lymphatic system, bathe the tissues and also feeds the cells, carrying nutrients through the bloodstream. Lymph nodes purify the lymph fluid and also serves as filters for toxins throughout the body trapping poisons, attacking bad bacteria, preventing them from entering the bloodstream. An over-accumulation of toxins in the lymph nodes can result in swollen glands and/or lymphatic cancer. Lymph nodes are different sizes. Some as small as pinheads, and others as large as lima beans. Lymph fluid flows into the lymph nodes through vessels.
When the lymph nodes are clogged they cannot release toxins from the body.
We need to clean the lymphatic system and the blood periodically. The blood can be cleaned by itself, however, you should not clean the lymphatic system without cleaning the blood with it. While cleaning the lymphatic system, you are releasing the nodes of toxins, and the toxins(viruses, bad bacteria, etc.) goes into the bloodstream, so you must clean the blood also. Herbs good for lymphatic cleansing are; Octillo, Yellowdock root, Lobelia, Black Walnut, Dandelion root, Wild Indigo root and Oregon Grape to name a few.
The first thing is a change of diet. Work on going vegan. Avoid meats, mainly red meats, dairy, processed foods, refined foods such as white sugar, white flour, white rice, salt. No carbonated beverages. No alcoholic beverages and tap water should be avoided too. The best water to drink during detoxifying is alkaline followed by distilled. The best things to eat are raw, organic foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. Foods that help cleanse the lymphatic system are: dark green vegetables, onions, garlic, ginger, seaweeds (kelp & kombu), wheatgrass juice, raw cranberry juice, flax seeds and omega 3 foods.
When it comes to personal hygiene, go earth friendly. No antiperspirants, commercial brand soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, cologne and perfumes. I love black soaps(DuDu Osun & Nubian Heritage are my favorites) If you try DuDu Osun, use a dark towel, because it will turn your towel brown. The deodorants I like are Lāfes Natural and Organic(my favorite) and Nature’s Gate Organics. Use oils like sweet almond, grapeseed, apricot, sunflower, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba and vitamin E. You can also use these oils for your hair, works great. Shea Butter is also great for the skin and hair. If you will not eat it then don’t put in on you skin. Stay away from mineral oils, it clogs the pores. Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps are great not just for the body, the liquid soaps are great for shampoos. Jason’s also makes good organic soaps. Use non-fluoride toothpaste. Jason makes and excellent non-fluoride toothpaste and Tom’s make great non-fluoride toothpaste also.
Massages are very helpful in reversing lymphatic disorders. Lymphatic massage incorporates deep tissue cleansing due to the pressure used. Try to put lymphatic/deep tissue massages in your regime as often as possible.
Exercise is very important, because unlike the blood that has two pumps, the heart and the lungs, to cause it to circulate it ten times a minute, the lymph does not have a pump, so your movement is necessary and vital for lymphatic circulation. A good lymphatic system only circulates the body once a day so it do not need to be sluggish. The best and simplest exercise in the world is walking. A nice brisk walk for at least 1-5 miles a day is great. The second best is cycling. Stationary bikes are good, however, it is nothing like riding out into the world and breathing The Father’s fresh air and being closer to the rest of His creations. The more you move, the more the lymphs nodes circulate and the easier it is for the body to keep them clean.
If you go to the months of March(for the kidneys), May(colon & liver) & Nov. (cancer) in my blog, it will have suggestions for cleansing products to help in your quest. I feel you should use them all.

Cancer

Uncle Chuckie, can anyone give me any information about cancer, particularly spinal cancer?

First we have to understand what is cancer or a cancer cell. Cancer is really a natural process where an overworked and weakened immune system cannot kill the cancerous cell as fast as it should and it continues to multiply. Toxins, carcinogens, radiation and some viruses, combined with an unhealthy internal environment in union with a weak immune system causes more cells to turn cancerous and allowing them to thrive. We must change our environment, internal and external, to make our internal environment a place where cancer can’t easily survive.
What makes cancer a natural process is that a cancer cell is a normal cell that is very low in oxygen and it does not have the proper communication with normal cells and start acting abnormally. This is why you hear health specialist and experts say cancer is abnormal cell activity. Many doctors unfortunately say that cancer is a proliferation of dead cells. If the cells are dead there would be no activity, no action. Cancer cells are active and the cells abnormal activity is due to the lack of oxygen and low alkaline level which means an excessive acid level. An very small percentage of cells in everyone turn cancerous and the body usually gets rid of them before they do any harm. It is when more cancerous cells are being created than the body can get rid of, that the problem is created. With increased toxins, viruses, carcinogens, etc. our immune systems have become drastically overworked and weakened.
The underlying cause of all cancer was, may have been, discovered by Otto Warburg over 50 years ago. He won two Nobel Prizes for work proving cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen respiration in cells. A nurse working in medical research said, “It is so simple. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. When working with cell cultures in the lab, if we want the cells to mutate, we turn down the oxygen, and to stop them from mutating, we turn the oxygen back up“.
Two doctors, Ma Lan and Joel Wallach point out that one type of white blood cells kills cancer cells by injecting oxygen creating hydrogen peroxide into the cells. So it makes sense to increase cellular oxygen levels and to detoxify the body so that more cells stay oxygenated.
Alkali solutions tend to absorb oxygen, while acids tend to expel oxygen. All body fluids, except the stomach and urine are supposed to be mildly alkaline. Stomach fluids remain acidic to digest foods and the urine must remain acidic to remove waste.
Unfortunately, chemotherapy is a man made chemical to try to destroy cancer cells and in doing so it destroys the immune system. As the immune system tries to rid the body of the foreign agent (chemo), it can’t rid the body of the cancerous cells. Radiation kills all of the cells. In the medical profession, the idea of destroying the cells where the cancerous cells are focused, thinking that the body will create new cells. The body needs energy and a normal immune system to produce new cells and how can that be done when the body and immune system is weak? They both deplete the cells of oxygen, in turn causes or lets the cancer cells thrive and multiply.
When insufficient mineral consumption is in the diet, the body is forced to rob Peter(other body fluids) to pay Paul(the blood). In doing so, it removes crucial minerals from the saliva, spinal fluids, kidneys, liver, etc.
The human body is made up of 78% water by weight, and that water is hydrogen and oxygen. Oxygen is essential to metabolize food and create energy.
There are many things we do or that happens in our lives that causes the low oxygen level in our bodies; smoking, hydrogenated oils and trans fats, sodium nitrite(found in processed meats), pesticides, chlorine, household cleaning products, perfumes, cosmetics, hair color and hair permanent chemicals, deodorant(aluminum), mineral oil, fluoride, refined/white sugar, white(bleached) wheat(grains) and white rice, preservatives, additives, food dyes, lack of exercise, shallow breathing, severe emotional and relationship stress, etc.
Some of the best ways to add oxygen into our bodies are to change our environment, internally and externally. Internally by eating raw foods, preferably organic. Eat green colored foods; kale, parsley, spinach, etc. Green foods are great alkaline foods saturated with nutrients.
Green and vegetable drinks(natural, without additives and preservatives).
Fruits like melons, dark berries(blue & blackberries, raspberries, goji, elderberry, etc.). Pure, natural fruit juices. Organic ginger will help the problems in the stomach.
Live foods. Live foods keep your body alive. Dead foods kill the body. If you eat meats cut down considerably and eliminate red meats. If you eat poultry, eat all nature(organic) poultry. Do not eat farm raised fish, only wild caught.
Oxygen therapy will help. A homemade way to oxygen therapy is adding sea salt, MSM sulfur and 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide to your bath and soak for an hour or so.
Blood cleansing herbs such as Echinacea, Goldenseal root, Chickweed, Yellow Dock, Red Clover, Burdock root and Dandelion root.
Immune boosting herbs include Astragalus, Ginseng, Pau D’ Arco, Cat’s Claw along with Echinacea & Goldenseal root and a few others.
Seaweeds are very oxygenating and alkalizing. The best are Super Blue Green Algae, Chlorella, Spirulina, Dulse, Irish Moss and Kelp. Seaweeds will eradicate the damaging effects of radiation.
Mushrooms are very healing. Use healing and therapeutic mushrooms; Reishi, Maitake, and Shitake. These mushrooms help dissolve tumor growth.
Water and hydrotherapy is great also. Drink alkaline and distilled water. Adding liquid chlorophyll will boost the oxygen level in the body and it is also a great internal body deodorant.
Colonics and enemas will rid your body of toxins. Aloe Vera juice is very soothing and healing to the colon. It is also alkalizing.
Deep belly breathing expands the diaphragm muscle, expanding the lung’s air pocket, massaging the lymphatic system. Start by lying on your back with a book on your stomach. Begin breathing by pushing the book up with your belly while breathing through your nose. Exhale through the mouth. Yoga and Tai Chi is great also.
Sweating rids the body of toxins. Saunas and hot sea salt baths induce sweating.
Exercise. Exercise is always important to keep the body functioning properly. Stretching works wonders too.
Reduce stress. Rid yourself of negative emotions. Positive thoughts are a plus. A lot of Christians will say, after they are diagnosed with a dis-ease, “I am not claiming this.” Positive affirmations are great too.

Diverticulitis (digestive dis-ease)

Uncle Chuckie, I have a friend who was just diagnosed with Diverticulitis. Through medication and a temporary high fiber diet the disease has subsided. She hasn't had any complications since but want to know what small changes she can make to insure a healthy digestive tract long term.

Diverticulitis starts with a disease called Diverticulosis which creates pouches in the colon and is very uncomfortable. Your friend needs to work on a lifestyle change. More so with their diet. A temporary high fiber diet is good, however a continuous fiber rich diet will aid in alleviating the problem full term. The first thing is to clean out the colon. In the blog I wrote in May about the colon will help. In that blog is a product by Natural Balance called Ultra Colon Clenz and use as directed. The first thing they should do in the morning when they wake up is to drink about 16oz of water on an empty stomach to lubricate your colon and the other organs. They need to have at least one bowel movement a day. They need to modify their diet. Cut out or down eating meats (more so red meats) and diary products. It takes about 4 days for the human body to digest meat so it sits in the colon and aids in most of all bodily problems. A healthy colon needs enzymes to stay healthy and they can found in raw fruits and vegetables. Fruit that have the highest amounts of enzymes are; pineapples (bromelain), papaya (papain), apples, grapefruit, figs, dates and tomatoes. Big green leafy vegetables (spinach, kale, collared, turnip and mustard greens-cooked without meat) should be eaten 3-4 times a week. Also add parsley and cilantro which has chlorophyll and iron. Try to eliminate refined foods (white rice, white flour, white sugar, etc.) and processed foods. Drink plenty of water preferably alkaline, however distilled and spring will do.
Massages, yoga and deep breathing exercises will work wonders.

History Repeating Itself

Uncle Chuckie, you look like you got a lot on your mind. I know what it is? It's about that gang war we just had and that gang trying to take over this city ain't it?

Well! You're out there celebrating with them.

Not me. I'm just barbecuing for the Fourth.

This is what I'm thinking about. First, those guys wearing the blue scarves moved into those two vacant houses down the street and just took them over without paying for them. They started bullying and killing people and taking over their homes. Then there is this group of guys wearing the red scarves moving in around the corner and doing the same thing. Neither one of those groups own anything around here, yet they just come in this area to take over everything. They force the weak to work for them. They supply them with drugs and help them get strung out and they become depended on those guys. They've rape a lot of women and also helped a lot of them get strung out too and put them on the streets to work for them by selling their bodies.
They are taking over this neighborhood and are moving to the next. Now the guys in blue and the guys in red started fighting each other to claim property that they don't even own. The guys with the blue scarves chased the red scarves away. Now they have the nerve to come up with their own laws and trying to make everyone abide by their rules. And you're out there helping them celebrate their victory.

No, not me! I was just celebrating the Fourth of July.

What's the difference? Happy Fourth!!!!!!

Being Sexy!

Dear Uncle Chuckie, what do you honestly say to a woman who feels like she has to dress sexy and trendy to attract a man?

When a woman dresses sexy to attract a man, she will attract someone who is looking for sex and not who she really is. Once she becomes/shows him her true self, he's going to continue to look for that sexy woman even if it's not her. Her mate has to be a part of who she is and visa versa. Then there will be happiness. She will never be happy trying to be someone she's not. We all need someone who wants us for who we are not who we think they want us to be. If we are not satisfied with ourselves how can we expect someone else to be satisfied with us. If your inner beauty is not enough then nothing will be enough. Unfortunately this is becoming a world of sex. Love needs to resurface and it will if we stop giving into the sex temptation.

You can have sex with anyone. You cannot make Love to anyone.

Getting Old?

Uncle Chuckie, I'm starting to get up there in age and every old person I know is always complaining about all of the aches and pains they're going through. And the lost of memory too. They say it is because they're getting old. Will I be that way too?

To be truthful, that's up to you. You mind and body is under your control. It does exactly what you tell it to do. In other countries older people remain physically active and are emotionally, intellectually and mentally much more involved in their communities. Unfortunately, in the American culture there is a very strong message that when you get old (older) that you are basically useless. All of your ailments are because you are old and you are supposed to be in a specific condition, mentally and physically. Some of the famous quotes are; "It's because I'm getting old", "Old age will do this to you", "I'm too old for this" and the scariest one is "You're gonna get this way when you get old." We must realize that this is the rest of our lives.
We are not getting old, we are getting older. Aging creates the best years of our lives. Studies show that happiness goes up as we get older. People are more happy when they reach the upper 50's and over.
Aging as decay is a lifestyle, not inevitable. Old timers illness is decay. Stress brings decay. We choose to enter the rest of our lives either weak or strong. When we continuously sit in front of the tv, computer, video games, smartphones, etc. our bodies shuts itself down. We are moving machines. There is an old saying, "If you don't use it you lose it". It goes with all parts of living, body and mind. People lived well into their hundreds and now the average life expectancy is between 62.7 to 75yrs. Living longer is up to us. You feel the way you feel when you get older is because you choose to.
Our bodies renews about 1% of itself daily. It's like getting a brand new body ever three months. Our bodies rest in the winter and is basically brand new each spring and is ready for additional movement. We need to help our bodies renew itself by changing our lifestyles.
The best way to start is to use common sense. We need to change our diets, not diet. Change what and how you eat. Cut down or out meats and dairy products. Plenty of vegetables, fruit, legumes and nuts (possibly organic). Start exercising. Exercise you body, brain and emotions.
The emotional content of our life is the most important followed by exercise then nutrition. The easiest thing to change is the one we make the most difficult and that is to live better emotional lives. Eating is the second most difficult and exercising is the third. Exercising with others can help build emotional ties and connecting with people with good eating habits can help you eat better. If you notice that every time good heath becomes an issue in life the media and fast food restaurants start advertising poison. Now it's bacon. The baconator, baconaila, etc. And all of the so-called nutritional ads are about fiber, fiber and fiber. Although we do need fiber in our diets too much can hurt you too. Since fiber carries water out of the body too much can cause dehydration and gas. High amounts of fiber may limit the absorption of iron and calcium and can cause deficiencies in nutrition. Too much can also cause constipation if you don't drink plenty of water. Everything in moderation. We must stop letting the media run our lives.
We need to rid ourselves of our bad past. Too many people try to hard to do the impossible and that is to continue to live the past. We can't live the past. We must learn from the past. We build up in our bodies our bad emotional past and refuse to let it go. Then we get to the point where we don't realize that we have built up so much in us from the past and wonder why we keep repeating it. We repeat it more in our minds and unconsciously take it out on those in our present and/or we keep it in let it decay our bodies and our brain then we get American old.
I am not put on this earth for me. I am put here for you and you for me. No living thing or being are meant to live alone. We are built to be part of a pack. You don't have to like everyone in your pack just get along with them. People surrounded by people do a lot better than those who are alone. Touching is very important too. Even if it is just a hug or a handshake. They will go a long way.
Read! Study and Learn. Do puzzles. Research things you doubt and things you want to know more about. Rid yourself of negativity and live a more positive life. Rid yourself of negative company. When people think negatively about you is their problem not yours. When you feel things are not going the way you think they should or the way you have felt they should have went in the past develop the "Oh Well!" attitude and move on. Stop getting upset with things you have no control over. Live a more relaxed life. Don't just Love yourself you must like yourself also.
We always work on treating problems when things go wrong (physically and mentally) instead of preventing them from happening.
You are going to grow older and the pace you grow older is up to you. There are three main types of people out there; Those who keeps their mind and body physically active (a little exercise, decent social circle and a few interest) will keep themselves from getting American old. Those who are about 100 pounds over weight and lonely decides to start by walking with someone will start creating a emotional bond and that is a good start. And the ones who have a very low chance of living healthy as they age are the ones who don't want to do anything from the beginning and that's the majority of us.
Never give up your dreams. Let go of your past. It is never too late to live your dreams and to live a healthier and brighter life. Today is all that matters and you can choose to live it drowning, swimming or soaring. It's up to you. You and only you have control.

Colon

Uncle Chuckie, when I was having problems with fibroids I could not go to the bathroom. It was days and sometime weeks before I went. It is better now but I know there is a build up. What can I do?

The first thing I would do is to detox my liver. With a colon build-up it is possibly sending toxins back to the liver and your liver might not be able to release toxins. There is a product called Complete Liver Cleanse by Enzymatic. I like the ingredients in it.
A colonic will help however, I would like to get your body use to emptying itself again on it's own. There is a product called Ultra Colon Clenz by Natural Balance that I like for you. Get the one in the green and white box and not the one in the flowered box. I like the ingredients and the amount of grams better. Spirulina would be excellent for you. It improves immune functions. It has anti-inflammatory properties which can help in allergic reactions and allergies. It is a great source of protein, minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants. It is rich in iron and vitamin B-12 to easily absorb iron. One of the side effects of Spirulina is constipation however, it is also use as a colon cleanse. The benefits out way the slight side effects and the side effects only effect a small amount of people.
Eat alkaline foods like dark green veggies(broccoli, kale, spinach, etc.), apples, dates, figs, avocados and tomatoes. Drink alkaline water. Try to stay away from alcohol, trans fat, meats(beef and red meats more-so, dairy, colas(carbonated drinks), refined and processed foods.
Exercise and massages will definitely help.
The first thing you should do when you wake up in the morning in drink at least 16oz of water on an empty stomach to hydrate your organs.

Diabetes & Sleep Apnea

Uncle Chuckie, What can I do to get off this three times a day insulin and CPAP machine?

It is a good chance that the sleep apnea developed from having diabetes. A disorder of carbohydrate, fat & protein metabolism is a result of a reflective or complete lack of insulin. Insulin is a naturally occurring hormone which makes diabetes a hormonal problem. Your hormonal system is out of balance and must be addressed. Most of our internal glands have a function of secreting(to produce and discharge something). With diabetes the duct in the pancreas is clogged because of hardened mucus around it. This prevents secretion of insulin. Since the duct of the pancreas is clogged, it is unable to secrete insulin into the blood stream to regulate the sugar in the blood and converts it into fat. This is linked to a non-functioning colon which makes it protrude and press against an already non-functioning pancreas. The excess fat in the body hampers the circulation of blood, oxygen and minerals throughout the body, especially the hands and feet. Pharmaceutical insulin was derived from cows and pigs now it is synthetic human insulin which also inhibits circulation and destroys the kidneys. Refined sugar destroys the pancreas. Try using stevia, raw(turbinado) sugar, blackstrap molasses, agave nectar, maple syrup, raw honey and/or date sugar. Stay away from bad oils like canola, cottonseed and peanut & soybean due to allergies. The best oils are extra virgin olive oil, sesame seed, grapeseed, sunflower, safflower and almond oils. Cut down or out meat eating, diary products, refined grains(white flour, white rice, white bread, degermed cornmeal, etc.). Meat converts to uric acid and dairy products convert to lactic acid. Alcoholic beverages is converted from sugar and should be avoided. Start using whole grains like brown rice, barley, rye, whole wheat flour, oatmeal, wild rice, etc. mushrooms, nuts & seeds.
Chromium nourishes the pancreas. It is found in broccoli, real grape juice, basil, potatoes(mashed) green beans and also in supplements. Fenugreek seeds will help dissolve the mucus around the pancreas. Flaxseeds and flaxseed oil will help dispel mucus. Goldenseal, fringetree bark and elecampane provides bio insulin to the pancreas. Use goldenseal sparingly because excess use can become toxic. One of the best herbs for the pancreas is devil's claw. Licorice root is a good for hormonal and glandular systems and will help normalize blood sugar. Cinnamon is good for blood sugar and along with ginger and cayenne is excellent for the circulation. Bilberry and blueberries is great for the eyes.
The best food is green(string) beans because the provide natural insulin and brussel sprouts is also great. Both of them would be better if you add them in your juicer. Kidney beans are great for the kidneys and so are juniper berries, uva ursi and parsley.
With sleep apnea a full body detox will reboot and refresh the body. Then a lung and respiratory cleanse should follow. RenewLife makes great products for both of these. MSM(sulphur) is great too. Chamomile, valerian and catnip teas will help. Sea salt gargles will shrink the tonsils. The worst sleeping position is on the back. If you sleep on your back have a pillow or two under your feet to raise your feet above your heart to help circulation.
Relax! Try to rid yourself of emotional pain. Breathing exercises are great. Soak in steamy water and add essential oils of tea tree, lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus. Get full body massages. Exercise and Relax!

Habits

Uncle Chuckie, what is the best way to start new habits?

First, you should work on ridding yourself of your bad habits. Habits like smoking, cussing, drinking, letting things you have no control over bother you, etc. Look at what causes those habit and what you are doing when you're committing them. Is it every time you finish eating you light up a cigarette? Try after you finish eating put a pen in your hand and write something good that happened to you that day or something that has been bothering you that you want to rectify or write a poem. When you hear yourself cussing, especially during regular conversation, listen to yourself as you speak, catch that word and replace it. Then start improving your vocabulary by reading. And do not read street books that uses the same language that you use. Read religious books, reference books, romance/poetry books, healing books, etc.
1st day - You're walking down a street and you fall into a deep hole and you're mad because there is a hole in the street.
2nd day - You go down the same street and you forget about the hole and fall into it again. Now you're mad because they haven't fixed it yet.
3rd day - You know there is a hole in the street yet you walk down the street anyway and fall in the hole and you're mad at yourself.
4th day - You walk down that street again and fall into that same hole out of habit.
5th, 6th & 7th day - Same thing.
8th day - You decide to go down another street. You like it. You're happy and Love that route.
9th day - You go down the old street and fall into the hole.
What has this story have to do with starting new habits? Look at yourself and see what you do out of habit that hurts yourself. When you purposely hurt yourself you hurt others. Now look at the things you do that make you feel good. When you're feeling good you make/help others feel good. Work diligently on things that make you feel your best then use that to make others feel their best. It will become habitual. You will then start walking down the beautiful street out of habit and work on keeping others from walking down the street with the hole and steer them down the beautiful path.
Isn't it strange on how we can make it so easy to develop bad habits and so difficult to develop the good ones when it should be the other way around.

Vitamin K2 & Blood Pressure

Uncle Chuckie, do vitamin k2 help lower blood pressure?

There are three different types of vitamin K; vitamin K1, K2 and K3. Vitamin K1 & K2 are natural and K3 is synthetic and should be avoided.
Vitamin K2 will help to lower blood pressure as does K1. Good vegetable sources of Vitamin K2 are; natto (fermented soybeans from Japan) and sauerkraut. Cauliflower, broccoli, kale, spinach, swiss chard, green peas, wheat, oatmeal, rye & safflower and good sources of vitamin K1 which converts to vitamin K2 in the body. Animal sources of vitamin K2 are goose liver & leg, chicken (breast, liver & leg), calf's liver, salmon and mackerel. Dairy products like soft and hard cheese, egg yokes, low fat milk & butter from grass fed cows not grain fed cows are good sources of vitamin K2. Not only is vitamin K (1 & 2) good to lower blood pressure, vitamin K is also has blood clotting qualities, binds with calcium to increase bone density and detoxification of the liver. Antibiotics interfere with the absorbtion of vitamin K.
Me personally I would not use the animal sources for vitamin K2 especially the livers of animals. If liver detoxes the body it also hold a lot of toxins from the body.

Speed Metabolism to Lose Weight

Uncle Chuckie, how can I speed up my metabolism to help me lose this weight. I exercise and the fat will not come off.

First, stop dieting and change your diet. Cut down your meat and dairy eating. More so try to eliminate red meats from your diet and eliminate fast foods.
You can start by cleaning out your colon. There is a product I like called Organic Total Body Cleanse by Renew Life. It will cleanse your blood, liver and colon. A product by Michael's called Fat Metabolism Factors will help you lose fat. I like it because it has chickweed leaf and kelp. Chickweed will help rid your body of fat and kelp has iodine to help your thyroid gland. Do the total body cleanse first then get the fat metabolism factor. If you have a colonic, ask them to put chlorophyll in the water. Solaray has a product called Cayenne & Ginger that will help clean your blood and digestive system and boost your metabolism and give you energy. Green tea will boost the metabolism too. Yogi has a green tea energy tea. Drink plenty of water preferably distilled and/or alkaline. Plenty of fruits (apples, pears, grapefruit, black and blue berries and strawberries) and vegetables (spinach, broccoli, kale and parsley) and oatmeal. You can use omega oils like flaxseed, sunflower and safflower oils. Use olive oil too. Eat plenty of fish (tuna, salmon, halibut), beans and nuts (almonds, pistashios, walnuts, cashews, etc.)
Continue to do light exercise and plenty of protein. A good protein bar is from Garden of Life called fucoProtein bar. It has protein and helps fight fat. I like a protein drink from Odwella. Naked and Bolthouse also have good protein drinks.
Relax. Have confidence in yourself and know that you will lose the weight and feel and look better. And body massages will help circulate your blood and loosen the fat to help your body dispose of it.

Sugar & Sodium

Uncle Chuckie, what is the daily limit for sugar and sodium intake?

It is indicated that the daily intake for sugar is 40g per a 2000 calorie diet and for sodium it's between 1500 and 3000 mg depending on your calorie intake between 2000 and 3000 calorie diet. There is bad and good sodium. The bad sodium is from processed foods(salt). Table salt is bleached and stripped of all of it's nutrients and chemical man made iodine is added to it. Natural sea salt has natural iodine and trace minerals that your body needs. It is better for you than table salt. Even when it comes to sea salt always read the label. Not all sea salt are equal. Do not buy Hain sea salt because it is not sea salt. The ingredients are; salt, calcium silicate which comes from limestone, potassium iodide which is an added salt, sodium bicarbonate which is added sodium and dextrose which is sugar. Sea salt ingredient should be sea salt. Table salt is not the only thing that adds unwanted sodium to your diet. A lot of ingredients in processed foods contains; sodium chloride, MSG(monosodium glutamine), sodium bicarbinate and sodium benzoate. Always read the label. Although too much sodium is bad for you not enough sodium is a problem too. Not enough can cause abdominal cramps, confusion, dehydration, depression, seizures, and a couple more things. Virtually all foods contain sodium, we just need to stay away from table salt and processed foods. Sodium is needed to maintain blood pH, proper water balance and for proper stomach, nerve and muscle function. We need a proper balance of sodium & potassium for good health and table salt robs you of your potassium and natural sea salt do not.
When it comes to sugar we need to stay away from white sugar. There are a few substitutes we can use to sweeten foods and drinks, like honey, maple syrup, date sugar, agave nectar, coconut sugar and turbinado sugar which is raw unprocessed sugar. And we also have our natural fruits. The only harmful sugar is processed white sugar.
We don't need to fear our sodium and sugar intake, just be more careful on the sugars and sodiums we put in our bodies.

Oral Cancer

Uncle Chuckie, can oral cancer be passed to another person by having oral sex?

No. Cancers develop in the cells and are not contagious like a virus or bacteria. However, you can develop oral cancer by having oral sex. An STD (sexually transmitted disease) called HPV (human papilloma virus) is known to cause cervical cancer in women  and is now thought to be a major cause of throat/oral cancer in men and one way HPV is passed is through oral sex. It is passed easier from a woman to a man than from a man to a woman. Having multiple sex partners and performing oral sex on those partners is a better the chance of contacting the virus.

That's why it is best when you are in a relationship is to be monogamous. It can save your live.

Water Pills

Uncle Chuckie, the doctor gave me some water pills. Do you know of any diuretics?

There are a few natural diuretics you can use. One thing I don't like about water pills is that instead of helping your body naturally rid itself of excess fluids, it forces it out. And there are a few side effect that goes along with it like; dizziness, muscle cramps and weakness, increase blood sugar, stomach problems like gas, nausea and vomiting, rash, and they also decrease the amount of potassium in the blood.
Apple cider vinegar, celery and dandelion leaf are high in potassium and have good diuretic properties. Tomatoes releases excessive body fluids and increase metabolism.
Cranberry juice helps maintain pH levels and good for kidney function.
Brussels sprouts stimulates the kidneys and pancreas.
Parsley, juniper berries and uva ursi stimulates the kidneys and flushes out excessive fluids.
Watermelon has plenty of natural water and potassium and helps to eliminate toxins.
Cucumbers also has plenty of natural water and they stimulate the kidneys also.
Green tea is a great diuretic.
Beets attack body fat and fatty deposits.
A lymphatic massage will help to move lymph flow and improve body circulation and help the body rid itself of excessive fluids and toxins.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day. The first thing you should do when you wake up in the morning is to drink at least 8oz of water to hydrate your organs.

Blood Pressure & Stroke

Uncle Chuckie, I just left the doctor's office and he checked my blood pressure and said that I might get a stroke. Now I'm afraid to go to sleep now.

Did the doctor talk to you about your situation or lifestyle?

No. He just gave me a prescription.

First of all, relax. Stress and worry can build your blood pressure. Try to get the word stroke off your mind. There are a few things that can raise your blood pressure. Lifestyle and diet. White foods like white sugar, white flour, table salt, white rice and shortening will raise your pressure. Others foods that can raise your pressure because of the cholesterol are meats and dairy products, margarine's and canola oils. Our bodies already have cholesterol in it and when we eat meats and dairy products, we put the cholesterol from the animals into our bodies and it can almost double our cholesterol. A lot of pharmaceutical drugs will raise your pressure. Drugs like ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, migraine headache medications, appetite suppressants and decongestants like Sudafed raises the blood pressure because the body sees them as a toxin/foreign agent and speeds up the blood flow to rush the toxins through the heart, which makes the heart work unnecessarily hard. Acidic beverages also raise our pressure like, soda pop, beer, coffee and milk. The reason why high blood pressure can cause a stroke is when the blood speeds up because of toxins and too much cholesterol blocking the vessels, which makes the heart work harder and speeds up the blood going through it, the vessel in the brain breaks or erupts causing the stroke. Not only changing your diet by cutting down or cutting out eating meats and dairy products, we need to eat a more healthier diet. Plenty of fruits and vegetables, juices and plenty of water(alkali and/or distilled). Cook with oils like olive, safflower, sunflower and grapeseed. Herbs that will lower the blood pressure are hawthorne berries, ginger root, angelica(dong quai), cayenne, blessed thistle, cinnamon, ginko biloba, prickly ash bark, white oak bark and gotu kola. The best exercises for lower blood pressure is walking, cycling, yoga and meditation.
The hearts do not fail us, we fail our hearts. Negative emotions can build our pressure. Even using phrases like; I have a broken heart, I've closed the door to my heart, I'm afraid to open my heart, love doesn't live here anymore, etc. Being in love makes a healthy heart. So does happiness and laughter. Caring about ourselves and others build a healthy heart. Worrying, anger and being upset helps destroy our heart. Your body remembers what you say and reacts to. The heart represents Love, trust, caring, compassion, giving and receiving.
The Father speaks to us through our hearts and if we continue to destroy our hearts we can stop listening to what He has to tell us.

Color of Jesus

Uncle Chuckie, If Jesus was a black man why is it in all of his pictures he is white? Was Jesus white or black?

Well, number one. There is no such thing as a black man. Man comes in all different shades. When the Spaniards saw a dark skinned man, they saw a negative figure and called them El Negros meaning the blacks. And the word black has always been used in negative terms; black mark, black list,  black mail, black balled, the unlucky black cat, etc.
The description of Jesus(Yahshua in Hebrew) in the Book of Revelations as a man with hair like white wool and feet like fine brass or bronze could describe the image of any type of deity. When I was growing up they had movies of Greek gods like Apollo, Zeus, Helios and Poseidon who had white woolly hair and feet of bronze. To figure out the shade of The Christ you would have to go down his genealogy, his family. Yahshua was a descendant of David and often referred to as a Son of David. David is the only person in the bible where they described his complexion. He is described as having ruddy skin and bright eyed. Back then ruddy meant the color of coral or rubies. Which meant David was lighter than his brothers. And like the majority of light skinned men, they love dark skinned women. When David saw Bathsheba across the way bathing, he could not help himself and needed to have her. If you read the story of David in 1 Samuel, you will read how he ended up marrying Bathsheba. They had a son named Solomon who was just like his father and loved dark skinned women. Mostly all of the people in the bible were people of dark skinned people. If you read 1 Cor. 11:14, Paul's states; "Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a shame/disgrace to him". So if it is a disgrace or shame to man to have long hair, why would the only perfect man to walk the face of this earth have hair down to his shoulders.
We are not to have any pictures of Jesus or The Father or angels anyway. The second commandment states; You should not make yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, the earth beneath or the waters under the earth. I feel He put that in the commandments because if you notice today, that when so many people have problems they first grasp the cross they have or look at a picture of an earthly man or turn to figurines of what they feel are angels first before they go directly to The Father in the name of Jesus(Yahshua) the Christ. They feel they need images and pictures in their homes to feel that they are blessed and protected not realizing that already have the blessing and the protection with them where ever they are. We don't need images or figurines.
So, don't consider yourself a black man. You are a Man. A son of The Father!

Gout

Uncle Chuckie, I have gout in my foot. What can I do to get rid of it?

As you know gout is caused by the rise is uric acid in the body. Some of the cause for the rise of uric acid is crash dieting, certain medications, overeating, stress, beer and other alcoholic beverages. Some foods that rises uric acid levels are sardines in oil, anchovies, organ meats like liver, gizzards and chitterlings. Even our lifestyle can contribute to the rise of uric acid. Lack of flexibility, stubbornness in the way you view the future and life, also a strong dislike of someone or a situation which causes stress.
Some ways to help lower uric acid is change in diet and lifestyle changes. A full body detox will lower your uric acid level. I like Daily Multi-Detox Program by Renew Life. Using an herbal blend from Nature's Way called Bladder & Kidney will rid your kidneys of uric acid and will strengthen your kidney and bladder. There are two hebal blends to help maintain correct levels of uric acid, one is by Solaray called Total Cleanse Uric Acid and another is Deodorex by Quality of Life Labs. Enemas will also reduce the levels. My favorite is to add 2-4oz of chlorophyll to the enema water. A sea salt enema is good also. If you use sea salt, add the sea salt to the water add let it dissolve before you put it in the enema bag. Or just a plain water enema will help. Use distilled or alkaline water and not tap water. Drink plenty of distilled water and/or alkaline water. Add an ounce of lemon juice to your water will help alkali your body. Eat plenty of dark green foods like kale, spinach, collar greens and broccoli. Dark berries, red cherry juice, flaxseed oil and olive oil is great. Omega fatty acids from tuna, salmon, halibut, flounder, pecans and hazel nuts are good.
Regular exercises is good too. Stop worrying about things you have no control over and start thinking more positively and create a better attitude.

Super Fruits and Vegetables

Uncle Chuckie, What are some other super fruits and veggies?

You know the old saying, "The darker the berry, the sweeter the juice"? That saying is true in more ways than one. Dark fruit like black and blueberries, dark cherries, strawberries, concord grapes, raspberries, elderberries, etc. have antioxidants that help fight diseases like cancers, tumors etc. They also have a good amount of potassium and vitamins C, E, B-complex, iron, calcium and fiber. Other fruits that are more so new to this country, Goji berries, Mangosteen, Noni and Acai are very high in antioxidants that supports a healthy immune system, healthy blood sugar levels, healthy liver function and healthy cardiovascular system. As with the other dark fruits.
Dark green vegetables are healthier than their lighter counterparts. Kale, spinach, broccoli, parsley, brussels sprouts and collar greens have an excellent amount of vitamins K, D, E, C & A, chlorophyll, folate, fiber, iron and calcium.
I personally eat organic fruits and veggies for the lack of pesticides, hormones and synthetic fertilizers. The saying, 'you are what you eat', is true. The phrase, Super fruits & Super vegetables is more of a sales ploy than anything else. All we have to do is to eat more fruits and veggies.
And remember, "The darker the fruit & veggie, the sweeter/healthier the juice".

Almond Milk Expiration Date

Uncle Chuckie, I have at least 3 cartons of Almond Milk in my fridge with an expiration date of Mar. 18, 2011. How long after the expiration date can I use them?

Most cartons of Almond Milk has a 'best by' date and not an expiration date. I would not use my almond milk no longer than 2-5 days after 'best by' date. Since they are opened there is still a chance, although slim, of bacteria contamination. Once it becomes cloudy and the taste changes it is time to throw it out.

Boils

Uncle Chuckie, how do I get rid of boils? They go from my upper legs to my buttocks.

The main cause of boils is a poor diet. A high acid diet causes mucus and pus to build in your body and it becomes toxic and your body tries to get rid of the pus through the skin. Boil are very contagious and should stay covered at all times. Cover the boils with gauze. Do not use adhesive bandages, they tend to aggravate the boils. First, you need to change your diet. Try to eliminate fast foods and cut down a lot on red meats and dairy products. Fresh fruit and vegetable juices are a plus. Drink a lot of distilled water, half your body weight. If you weigh 160 lbs. you should drink at least 80 ounces of distilled water. A sea salt soak will help heal your boils. Run a tub a tub of water about as hot as you can stand it and put approx. 16oz of sea salt in the water. Add 2-3 drops of lavender oil and/or 2-3 drops of peppermint oil to the bath. Take about 8-16oz of cold water in the bathroom with you and sip on it as you soak. Listen to some relaxing music while you soak to help your body relax and dispel the toxins. Slowly drain the tub and after the water drains, rinse yourself down in the shower with the water a few degrees cooler than the bath water. Use Nubian Heritage Lemongrass & Tea Tree soap to wash yourself off with. You can get the soap from almost any Beauty Supply stores. Continue to use the soap everyday until the boils go away. Soak at least a couple times a week. Use an onion compress. Put slices of onions between some gauze and tape it to the boils and leave on for a couple of hours about two times a day. You can put a couple of drops of Colloidal Silver on the boils and you can also put Tea Tree oil on the boils to dissolve them. A warm compress will help.
You also need to cleanse your blood. I like an herbal cleanser called Red Clover Cleanser by Planetary Herbals. You take 2 tablets two times a day between meals. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and don't forget plenty of water. Add some lemon juice to your water to help rid the acidity and balance the alkaline. Try to stay away from white sugar and white flour. Cut down considerably on your sweets/junk food intake.
Also where the boils are represents frustration, anguish, anger, humility and direction. Relax! Relax and be Patient. Change your diet and your lifestyle.

Marriage License

Uncle Chuckie, I heard that you really don't need a marriage license to get married. Is that true?

Yes, it is true. A license is not needed to have a legal marriage. Let's look at the meaning of these words or phrases;
Marriage - to join as husband and wife(Webster's dictionary); legal union of one man and one woman as husband and wife(Black's law dictionary); a divine institution, designed to form a permanent union between man and woman that they might be helpful to one another(Unger's bible dictionary); a man leaves his father and mother and becomes united to his wife and they become one flesh(Gen. 2:24).
License - formal or legal permission to do something specified(Wester's dictionary); the permission by competent authority to do an act which, without permission, would be illegal, a trespass or a tort(Black's law dictionary).
Marriage license - a license or permission granted by public authority to persons who intend to intermarry, usually addressed to the minister or magistrate who is to perform the ceremony(Black's law dictionary).
Intermarry - to become connected by marriage of different clans, races, etc.(Webster's dictionary); mixture of races, marriage between persons of different races(Black's law dictionary).
The only thing that is needed for a legal marriage along with the couple(man and woman), is a minister, two witnesses and their signatures in the family bible. The minister need to complete a marriage certificate and give a copy to the married couple and the state.
If there is a license, you are not only marrying your mate you are also marrying the state. That's why the state has jurisdiction over your family life during that marriage. If you go for a marriage license the state has the right to tell you if can marry your mate or not.
You have a spiritual right to marry and you don't need to get permission from the state to perform God given right.

Ulcers & Kidney

Uncle Chuckie, What do you recommend for an ulcer and kidney disease?

For an ulcer I would suggest leafy green vegetables like kale, spinach, broccoli, cilantro, collar greens (cooked without the pork or red meat), etc. Drinking cabbage juice, about 2 to 4 oz per day will help heal an ulcer. Also whole leaf aloe vera gel would help to heal an ulcer. Take as directed, approx. 1 tablespoon up to three times a day. Vitamin K is needed not only to aid in the healing, it will help in blood clotting to help a bleeding ulcer. You get vitamin K from the leafy (dark) green vegetables as listed above. I also like a  supplement by Futurebiotics called Vital K. Herbs to help with an ulcer are; White Oak Bark, Goldenseal, Solomon's Seal, Cayenne, Slippery Elm Bark, Birch, Ginger the mint family-Peppermint, Spearmint and Wintergreen, White and Black Willow Bark. The mints, the willow barks and the birch used as anti-inflammatory. Goldenseal should never be used for a prolong period. Cayenne should be used sparingly because it is hot and will aggravate the ulcer a little. Marshmallow Root extract(non-alcohol)will help heal an ulcer also. I suggest taking about 60 drops per day on an empty stomach.
For the kidneys, Juniper Berries will rejuvenate and heal the kidneys. There is a blend of herbs that I like from Nature's Way called Bladder & Kidney that's works well. This blend should not be taken for no more than thirty days then stop for a couple of weeks. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. To get the suggested water intake per day is to divide your weight by two and drink that amount in ounces. I would suggest a little more when dealing with your kidneys.

MRI

Uncle Chuckie, I just had an MRI and the doctor said that I should drink a lot of water to clean out my kidneys. Is there anything else I can do?

Yes. There is a supplement from Nature's Way called Kidney/Bladder. It contains Juniper Berries, Uva Ursi, Parsley. Ginger root, Marshmallow, Goldenseal and Cramp bark. Juniper berry is an herb that helps to rejuvenate and heal the kidneys. And it being complimented with Uva Ursi, Parsley and Ginger is an excellent combination. And make sure you drink plenty of water. Take the capsules as directed for at least two weeks and afterwards continue to drink plenty of water.

Juicing for Lent

Uncle Chuckie, I'm going to be juicing during lent. What protein powder do would you recommend for an older woman so I can keep my vitality up?

There are a couple of brands that I like. Both are plant derived proteins and the right blend of amino acids. The one I favor is Raw Protein by Garden of Life. It is all organic, has only 1g of fat and only 1% sodium. The other is Pure Green protein by Vibrtant Health. It is mostly organic with only 1.6g of fat and 8.13% sodium.
When it comes to juicing I love my Odwella juices. The Superfood is all fruit and vegetables, not from concentrate. They also have a variety of protein drinks. I also like Naked brand juices. Their green drink is not from concentrate either. They have a couple of protein drinks too. Odwella and Naked protein drinks are soy and whey derived. One thing I'm not too crazy about with Naked other juices is that they contain natural flavors, what ever they may be. When I see natural flavors I would like to see natural blueberry flavors or natural cherry flavors not just natural flavors. Lakewood has good organic juices that are not from concentrate that I enjoy also.

Make-up

Uncle Chuckie, why do so many woman where so much make-up?

It's ignorance and weakness.

Ignorance and weakness?

Yes. Weakness do to the fact that they are not strong enough to understand why they let the industry/media tell them how they are suppose to present themselves. They are told that they are not up to life's standards. You must look like we say you are suppose to look.
Ignorance do to the fact that they are not sure who they really are. When they look in the mirror they do not like who they see so they try to cover it up, disguise it. They continue to put on more and more until they don't recognize who's in the mirror any more. They shave off their beautiful brows off and draw new ones on.
Ignorance do to the fact that they do not realize that when they look in the mirror they are not looking at their outer selves. They are looking at their inner selves and they do not like what they see.
Say that there is a young man and a young lady who frequent the same place twice a week. They smile/flirt with each other. One day he speaks to her and ask her name. They have a brief conversation then go about their way. The next time they meet, she is all made-up with different cosmetics and he speaks to her and goes about his way. Now she's upset and is wondering what is wrong. She blames him and never wants to speak to him again. Why didn't he have a conversation with her? He no longer recognized her. He was attracted to the real her. Her natural beauty. When she came in looking like someone else, he was no longer attracted to her. And the reverse is the same. If he had met her with her make-up on and was attracted to that and when she finally took it off and he was no longer attracted to her. He can see the real her and how she do not like who she really is.
If you don't like who you are, how can you expect someone else to like who you are? You have to Love you first then everything will follow. However, you can't over Love yourself and make everyone else a second class citizen. It is a beautiful balancing act that we all must learn.

Dry Mouth

Uncle Chuckie, my mouth has been dry for a couple months now, especially the upper mouth. What can I do?

Are you take a lot of medications?

Yes. At least three or four.

That's the cause of your dry mouth. To start, try chewing on celery stalks and/or carrot sticks and licorice sticks through out the day. There is a mouthwash by Jason called Healthy Mouth with Melaleuca(tea tree oil), Clove oil, Cinnamon & Golden Seal. I would add some Ginseng extract, Sasapparilla & Licorice root extracts. You can also add lemon or lime juice and a pinch of cayenne or paprika to a glass of water to help heal the endocrine system. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and add some chlorophyll to the water as you sip on your water.
Now if you let know what you are being treated for then maybe we can come up with something to help limit the meds you are taking too.

Real Man

Hey Uncle Chuckie, What's wrong with these females? Hey, I'm almost 30 yrs. old. I'm a man. A man has his needs. Why can't they understand that?

If you are a man, why do you have to keep reminding yourself? Age does not make you a man. Your actions make you a man. You do not declare yourself a man. How you treat others and how people see you determines whether you are a man or not. Manhood is not self-proclaimed, it is earned. There are twenty, thirty, forty & fifty yr. old boys walking up and down the streets. Too many have flunked Man School and even more have dropped out because they couldn't handle it.
There is no such thing as a "Real Man". Either you are a man or you're not. A man not only seeks Knowledge and Wisdom for his understanding, he seeks it for everyone else. Knowledge and wisdom means nothing to you until you give it away.
A man treats a woman gently and with special care. Not to disrespect her and bounce around from woman to woman. The Father Loved man so much, he gave him a delicate creature to Love, look after, protect and nurture. A man need not to feel like a king to treat a woman like a queen. If you treat a woman like the Queen the Father made her to be for man, She should automatically treat you like the King you are. A man puts nothing before his family.
A man's order of things; 1. His first family - The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
                                     2. His wife and/or children.
                                     3. His external family (parents, siblings, relatives).
                                     4. Everything else he deems important.
A man is made out of Love. And Love is not Love until you give it away.

Dry Eyes

Uncle Chuckie, what can I do about my dry, red eyes?

Well, one thing you need is lutein. Lutein is an antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables like kale, spinach, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, kiwi, egg yolks, pears and also found in pastachio nuts. You also need vitamin A.
Two supplements I like for dry eyes are; Solaray Lutein Eyes 6 or 12mg veg. caps. A lot of the lutein they use comes from spinach, blueberries, rosemary and bilberry. I also like Life Time Brite Eyes which has bilberry and eyebright.
Also use a vaporizer to assist in moistening your eyes.

The "N" word

Uncle Chuckie, why do these guys always call each other "Nigga"?

Ignorance. Ignorant to the fact. They don't know the real meaning of the word nigga or nigger. After the revolts of the 50's and 60's our people felt that we couldn't't let them dictate how we live our lives so we must create our own way of living. We developed our own music, our own fashions and our own language. Unfortunately too many chose the wrong route. They kept the 'ghetto' state of mind. "And if it ain't no ghetto we gonna make a ghetto." They try to turn discriminating language into what they call language of love and friendship. And the main ones are; Nigga, Dog, Bitch, Boy and Girl. When we are young, just little children, we hear our parents say about us, "Look at my little man!" "She's my little lady." When we became adults it's, "That's my boy right there!" "I'm gonna hang out with the girls tonight." Street language, "Hey! Wha' sup my nigga!?" "Come here bitch, you no you my girl."
I ask a few guys, "What is the definition of the word nigga?" One guy literally looked at me and said, "Us?" I must admit, I used the word a lot growing up until my baby sister told me, "You sure do use that word a lot." I thought about it and she was right. I looked up the definition of that word and have not used it since. The dictionary I had when I was growing up had it listed as 'a derogatory name for a black person. A lazy, shiftless person.' Now in today's dictionary it began with; "a black person. a member of any dark-skinned race. Then is says "a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc. a victim of prejudice, similar that suffered by blacks.'
Those are still not the real definition of the word 'nigga'. The real definition is," 1/5th of a man, lower than a dog." And what are these people calling themselves now? "Niggas', Bitches and Dogs."
What's wrong with this picture. They don't have to put us down anymore and call us niggas and bitches...we are doing a fantastic job of keeping ourselves down.

Sagging

Uncle Chuckie, why do people sag?

Today's sagging started in the middle 80's to early 90's. It started as a sad and unfortunate status symbol. Some guys wanted to show how bad they were. "Hey! I am the dog cause I just got out of prison." In prison they take away your shoelaces and belts to prevent people from hanging themselves and others. So when they got out of prison they continue to let their pants sag below their waist and let the tongue of their gym shoes lap everywhere. They believed that they had street respect by presenting themselves like that.

What they don't realize is that sagging goes back a lot further than that. Back when our people were slaves, the men tied ropes around their waist to help keep their pants up. The salve masters would walk up to them and snatch the rope from around their waist and tell them, "You ain't no man. Y'all lower than a dog. You ain't suppose to wear your pants on yo' waist boy!"
Now it's a fashion? Instead of progressing we are steadily regressing. Wake up my people, Wake up.

People with good Hearts!

I was just asked, "Why would someone with a good Heart and beautiful Spirit have such a hard time in life and now have cancer again."

Unfortunately, in this life there is a such thing as displaying too good of a Heart & Spirit and too many take advantage of that. Now it is time for others to return the favor in a BIG WAY!

They believe that they have angered the Father(God) and that's why they are going through what they are going through. What makes the Father angry is the people that takes and have taken advantage of her. What disappoints Him is that we don't forgive ourselves after he has forgiven us. We put added pressure and stress on us by not forgiving ourselves. She can't let her Faith dwindle and believe in herself most of all. Continue to do the good that she is doing. Continue to talk to the Father through the Son and watch things get better. And we all have to be there for her and with her with a positive state of mind and be real with it. And no negative thoughts or actions. The Father do not work in negativity and neither should we.

My first blog

So many people come to me and ask for advice on health, religion, relationships, etc. Sometimes at work they seem to wait in line for the opportunity to be next. My sister suggested that I start a blog. Here it is. You can ask me almost anything. I'm waiting.
