Tears
Uncle Chuckie, will my tears ever stop?
I Truly understand your question, and how you are feeling. I have been asked similar questions about tears; what are tears, why are there times when I need to cry and can’t, and why do we have tears?
Tears are an emotional stress reliever. We all have them, and we must use them one way or another. If they are suppressed, they will come out, when you least expect it. If they are overly used, it is difficult to stop them. Tears are there when we hurt, and when we hurt someone. Tears are there when we are sad, and when we make someone sad. Tears are there when we are happy, and when we make someone happy. Tears are a sign of Love, a sign of feelings.
Personally, I started suppressing my tears when I was eight or nine years old. I stopped because I was tired of crying. I forced them out to make certain situations stop. As I got older, I did not release my tears because I felt I had to be there for others. When my family started to return Home, starting with my Uncle Andrew, my Aunt Melzina, my brother Tim, etc., I notice how my family was reacting and I felt I had to be there for them. I guess my reasoning was like that old Head & Shoulders ad; ‘No More Tears’. The years passed and my mind told me that something wasn’t right. My Heart felt very, very heavy. What I went through as a child kept emerging. I needed to release and didn’t know how. I could not function well. I needed to release. One day, I was led over to my mother’s. While I was there, I also needed to talk to my baby sister, so I called her. While my sister was on the phone and my mother next to me, I started to talk about my past and why I stopped crying. The torrential rains started pouring from my eyes. It was like a thunderstorm. It was decades of tears that needed to be released. I felt a lot better. Then they went on lockdown again. I guess it went from being a habit to a lifestyle. When I came to Georgia, I needed to release again. It took awhile, then they came. I became extra emotional and a little more sensitive than usual. I have learned to mellow now. I’m still me, and a lot of stress is gone. I cannot be too emotional over things I have no control over.
If I had realized then what I do now, would I have suppressed my tears? Maybe during certain situations and let them flow during others. Tears can purify like Holy Water. Release them when it’s time. It shows Love and feelings. It shows how much you care. Don’t try to force them, just let them flow naturally. Don’t try to suppress them, we need that release. That’s why The Father gave us tears.
Thank You Father for the tears you have given us!!

Men Don't Care
Uncle Chuckie, why is it that some guys seem to run away from problems. They tend to get quite or just leave, and you don’t hear from them for a while. Why is that?
Well, you see with a lot guys, they want to help and they can’t. Some just don’t know how, and they feel that rather than to be embarrassed, they just leave, using the senseless adages; a man ain’t supposed to…men don’t…and so on.
You see, a woman’s main characteristic is to nurture. A lot of men do not know how to nurture. A man’s main characteristic is to fix things. If he can’t fix the problem it hurts him, especially when it comes to a Loved one; wife, child, lady friend, etc., so rather than let someone see him with a sad look on his face (I‘m not supposed to let anyone see me like this, I’m a man), or a tear about to fall (men aren’t supposed to cry), or believing he is about to hear, ‘You can’t do nothing’ or ‘What good are you?’ or anything that is going to belittle him, whether it is going to be said or not. “Just in case something is about to be said that is going to take my manhood away, let me get out of here.” is what a lot of guys think or feel.
It hurts a man deeply when he can’t fix what is wrong with a Loved one. Some men know how to nurture and some men try their best to fix what is wrong, and some just feel so bad that if they just leave it might go away, and when it gets better they’ll come back.
It’s not that they don’t care. A lot of times it’s that they do care, they just don’t know how to fix it. Not only do women need to know this, so do a lot of men, because they don’t realize themselves why they really do this. We both, men and women, need to be more understanding of each other and willing to work together to make things better.

Bike Riding
Uncle Chuckie, I have a question for ya.... I've taken up biking and I need to know how to build up my legs. I did 12 miles Wed and could barely do 5 today.... should I take a day off between long rides?
Are there any suggestions for a newbie? I really want to stick w/ this but man, I just couldn't hack it. What about hills. I had to walk some of them, and these were not that steep. Do I have tired legs? I have a fifteen speed.
Try to ride everyday if you can. Start off with routes that are not too long, maybe about two miles up and two miles back. When you start riding, start in the lower gears. With a fifteen speed, I would start off in 4 or 5. When you are pedaling, start off slow and try not to coast until it is necessary. I try to keep my legs moving all the time. When I am approaching a red light, I ride the brakes a little and continue to pedal slowly until the light changes. Once your legs get use to that gear, don’t be shy and put some muscle into it, ride it like you are being chase by a dog, then every week or so I will go up one gear. When you approach a hill, down shift, stand on the pedals and jog the bike up, and don’t be ashamed to get off and walk the real steep ones, I do.
Always stretch before and after your rides. Stretch your legs mainly and also your upper body, because it takes a beating too. Make sure you are hydrated. Drink eight to sixteen ounces of water, preferably distilled or spring, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Keep some water with you during your ride and drink some after your ride.
Squats, lunges and calf raises will help strengthen your legs. When you are ready, let me know then we’ll ride to Chicago or something. Let me know how it goes.

Stress & Arthritis
Uncle Chuckie, I was wondering what effect stress has on arthritis? I have been having almost crippling pain in my knees. I wonder if the stress is contributing to this problem.
Yes. Stress is the contributing factor in almost every dis-ease and dis-comfort.
Your body reacts to stressors universally. The seriousness of the problem that you are going through will make your body respond more dramatically. Thoughts and internalized feelings are very powerful and they manifest themselves physically all the time with symptoms of inflammation.
With all the other factors contributing to inflammation, coping with stress and emotional pain is often overlooked, however it’s really important. And it can play a big part in restoring your immune system’s balance before it gets overloaded.
You need to learn how to deal with your stress and stop reacting to it.
A lot of things that happen to us can seem traumatic, consciously and subconsciously. How we deal with those things determine our future, emotionally and physically.
Stress can seem so difficult to deal with, yet it is very simple. The most difficult part is leaving what we went through behind. Stress, the immune system, arthritis, and depression are linked through the production of a key hormone called corticotrophin-releasing hormone. Arthritis is partly the result of hormone overproduction in response to stress. The immune system does not work properly and the body physically attacks itself in the joints and the defense response is very poor. The result is the inflammatory disease of rheumatoid arthritis. Unfortunately, people who get rheumatoid arthritis experience higher incidences of depression. It’s probably because of the close relationship of too much stress and its effect on the immune system.
The number one way to deal with stress is relaxation. Relaxing the mind relaxes the body and relaxing the body relaxes the mind. Massage can play a big role in alleviating the symptoms of both stress and arthritis. Kneading, rubbing and stroking the muscles, ligaments and tendons create relaxation that restores balance to the delicate body. Massage therapy is one of the best antidotes for stress.
A massage kneads and soothes the area around a joint to relieve the tension in the muscle. By doing so, the joint pain is reduced as swelling goes down. A massage stimulates the immune system which is an integral part of skin as much as of internal organs.
Moving the muscles and surrounding areas of the joints, circulation of blood and lymph is improved. This increases toxin removal from the body. Toxins affect joint operation and exposure is constant through food and air chemicals that are ingested. A massage is a non-medicinal therapy that can relieve painful arthritis symptoms. Arthritis and massage therapy appear to be unrelated terms, but arthritic suffering can be greatly reduced by gentle kneading and stretching of the muscles and tissue surrounding the joint.
The benefits of a massage are;
Stress relief
Increased circulation
Increased flexibility
Decreased inflammation
Decreased pain
Decreased joint stiffness
Increased feelings of wellness
Decreased muscle aches If even the untrained hands of a friend or partner can soothe aches and pains, and diminish anxiety, then imagine the effect of a therapeutic massage by a trained practitioner. The rituals of massage come as a welcome break from our hurried lives: dimmed lights, soothing music, the pleasant fragrance of a mild oil or candle - even without massage, these can help you relax. Stress relieving essential oils are Bergamot, Chamomile, Lavender, Lemon, Orange, Patchouli, Vanilla, and Ylang Ylang. I like NOW products skin care oils. My favorite is Lavender Almond Massage Oil. I also like the Comforting Massage Oil. If you don’t want a scent in your oil I also like the Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Jojoba Oil. And they are the most affordable oils out there. You can add stress relieving essential oils to you bath water to help you relax also. I am not crazy about soaking in Epsom salts because it dries the skin. I like Batherapy Brand mineral salts to soak with. When I’m in pain I like the original Batherapy which has a mint aroma, and when I just want to relax I use Lavender Batherapy. You can use a the essential oils in a diffuser and let the aroma of the oils relax you with your favorite soft music. Chamomile, Catnip, Passionflower, Siberian Ginseng, Don Quai, Lavender, Kava Kava, Clove St. Johns Wort, Valerian Root and Skullcap are good herbs to help relieve stress. If you use Valerian, use it when your day is done and don’t use it for a prolong period because it will relax you a little more than the rest.
Arthritis is the inflammation of one or more joints. It causes pain and stiffness, swelling, deformity, and/or a diminished range of motion. Bone spurs/growth may develop in the affected areas. RA or rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder. An overactive immune system can be just as harmful as a weak one. RA is a self-acting dis-ease which means that the immune system is literally attacking itself. The body’s immune system identifies the synovial membrane as a foreign agent and attacks it causing inflammation resulting in damaged cartilage and tissues in and around the joints. Synovial fluids lubricates the linings of joint and the sheaths or covers of tendons. Arthritis can be reversible and curable with proper diet and lifestyle changes. These simple changes can not only relieve the inflammation and pain, it can also stop degeneration and rejuvenate the affected joints. Lifestyle adjustments that can help are;
Low-impact exercise such as swimming or water therapy
Yoga or pilates for flexibility
Strength training for stronger muscles
Massage to improve circulation in muscles and joints
Splints, supports or orthotics when participating in exercise or engaging in daily activities
Avoid staying in the same position for extended periods of time
Avoid movement that places extra strain on the affected areas You should do a detox. A product I like is called Organic Total Body Cleanse by Renew Life. It will cleanse your blood, liver, kidneys and colon. Bromelain which is an enzyme found in the juice and stems of pineapples reduces inflammation. Do not eat frozen or canned pineapples because freezing and canning destroys the Bromelain enzyme. Eat more sulfur-containing foods, like asparagus, eggs, garlic and onions. Sulfur is needed to repair and rebuild bone, cartilage, and connective tissue, and it also aids in the absorption of calcium. Eat plenty of dark green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Tart cherries can relieve pain and inflammation. Drink plenty of water preferably distilled and/or alkaline. The first thing that should go into your body in the morning is between 8-10 oz of water. Eat foods rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, such as cold water fish, flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and soybeans. Flaxseed oil, about a tablespoon a day, will lubricate the joints and lessen stiffness and joint pain. Noni juice can help relieve the pain of arthritis.
Herbs that are anti-inflammatory in nature can help heal arthritis. These herbs include:
Meadowsweet
Peppermint
Wintergreen
Birch
White and Black Willow Bark
Balm of Gilead. Ginger is a powerful antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory effects. Cayenne contain a compound called capsaicin that relieves pain. Mix cayenne powder with enough wintergreen oil to make a paste and apply to painful joints. Cayenne can also be taken internally. Solaray has a product called Cayenne & Ginger that not only would help relieve pain and is anti-inflammatory, it also cleanses the blood and helps with blood circulation.
Other herbs known to help with arthritis are:
Devil's Claw
Boswellia (Frankincense)
Uva Ursi
Mullein leaves
Saffron
Cayenne pepper
Feverfew
Organic sulfur, commonly called MSM Sulfur I like Joints Mobility Factors by Michael's. You can also use Hyaluronic Acid, which your body makes itself. Your body might not be producing enough to lubricate your joints so you can take Hyaluronic Acid supplements.
Apply a healing salve directly on the problem areas made from:
a base butter or oil such as shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut, olive, or almond oil (or any other good oil)
add 10-15 drops of the following essential oils:
Peppermint
Clove
Wintergreen
Eucalyptus Cut down on your meat and dairy eating and other acidic foods. Cold water fish like salmon, trout, etc. are alkaline foods that should be added to your diet.
The number one thing is relaxation for both stress and arthritis.
I wish you the best.

Bone Density
Uncle Chuckie, what can I do help my loss of bone density?
There are two things you should incorporate into your life. A load-bearing or weight-bearing exercise program and a change of diet.
The muscle pulling on the bone action of load-bearing exercises causes increase in bone mass. Load-bearing exercises include; weight lifting, jogging, hiking, stair-climbing, step aerobics, dancing and sports like; basketball, football, baseball & softball, volleyball, racket ball and tennis. Any exercise or sport that require your muscles to work against gravity. These exercises should be done at least three times a week and thirty minutes a day. It do not have to be thirty straight minutes, it could be ten minutes three times a day.
Your diet should include dark green leafy vegetables, chestnuts, hazelnuts, kelp, broccoli, black strap molasses, oats, salmon, sea vegetables (seaweed, etc.), sesame seeds, flax seeds, sesame butter, etc. Try to eat whole grain and calcium enrich foods at different times, because whole grains contain a substance that binds with calcium and prevents its uptake. Calcium is best taken at bedtime because your body absorbs it better and it aids in sleeping. Yeast is high in phosphorus which fights with calcium for absorption by the body. Vitamin D need to be taken along with calcium to assist with your bone mass and absorption. Alfalfa, barley grass, black cohosh, dandelion root, nettle, parsley, poke root, rose hips & yucca help build strong bones. Horsetail and oat straw contain silica, which helps the body absorb calcium.
Things to stay away from are; meats, processed foods, fast foods & too much sodium. Sodium fluoride, carbonated drinks & too much caffeine help deplete the body of calcium. Soy, beans, peas and lentils supply proteins and green leafy vegetables are rich in calcium. Some studies show that women who eat a vegetarian diet experience less bone loss than women who consume meat.
Eat right, stay active and exercise. Not only will it help you build stronger bones, it could also reverse the affect of bone lose.

Lymphatic System
Uncle Chuckie, the doctor said he found lump in my lymph node. Pray for me, because of everything I’ve been through.
The lymphatic system is part of your defense system, that is made up of a intricate network of vessels, valves and nodes that carry lymph fluid and help remove toxins from the body. Lymph fluid circulates through the lymphatic system, bathe the tissues and also feeds the cells, carrying nutrients through the bloodstream. Lymph nodes purify the lymph fluid and also serves as filters for toxins throughout the body trapping poisons, attacking bad bacteria, preventing them from entering the bloodstream. An over-accumulation of toxins in the lymph nodes can result in swollen glands and/or lymphatic cancer. Lymph nodes are different sizes. Some as small as pinheads, and others as large as lima beans. Lymph fluid flows into the lymph nodes through vessels.
When the lymph nodes are clogged they cannot release toxins from the body.
We need to clean the lymphatic system and the blood periodically. The blood can be cleaned by itself, however, you should not clean the lymphatic system without cleaning the blood with it. While cleaning the lymphatic system, you are releasing the nodes of toxins, and the toxins(viruses, bad bacteria, etc.) goes into the bloodstream, so you must clean the blood also. Herbs good for lymphatic cleansing are; Octillo, Yellowdock root, Lobelia, Black Walnut, Dandelion root, Wild Indigo root and Oregon Grape to name a few.
The first thing is a change of diet. Work on going vegan. Avoid meats, mainly red meats, dairy, processed foods, refined foods such as white sugar, white flour, white rice, salt. No carbonated beverages. No alcoholic beverages and tap water should be avoided too. The best water to drink during detoxifying is alkaline followed by distilled. The best things to eat are raw, organic foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. Foods that help cleanse the lymphatic system are: dark green vegetables, onions, garlic, ginger, seaweeds (kelp & kombu), wheatgrass juice, raw cranberry juice, flax seeds and omega 3 foods.
When it comes to personal hygiene, go earth friendly. No antiperspirants, commercial brand soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, cologne and perfumes. I love black soaps(DuDu Osun & Nubian Heritage are my favorites) If you try DuDu Osun, use a dark towel, because it will turn your towel brown. The deodorants I like are Lāfes Natural and Organic(my favorite) and Nature’s Gate Organics. Use oils like sweet almond, grapeseed, apricot, sunflower, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba and vitamin E. You can also use these oils for your hair, works great. Shea Butter is also great for the skin and hair. If you will not eat it then don’t put in on you skin. Stay away from mineral oils, it clogs the pores. Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps are great not just for the body, the liquid soaps are great for shampoos. Jason’s also makes good organic soaps. Use non-fluoride toothpaste. Jason makes and excellent non-fluoride toothpaste and Tom’s make great non-fluoride toothpaste also.
Massages are very helpful in reversing lymphatic disorders. Lymphatic massage incorporates deep tissue cleansing due to the pressure used. Try to put lymphatic/deep tissue massages in your regime as often as possible.
Exercise is very important, because unlike the blood that has two pumps, the heart and the lungs, to cause it to circulate it ten times a minute, the lymph does not have a pump, so your movement is necessary and vital for lymphatic circulation. A good lymphatic system only circulates the body once a day so it do not need to be sluggish. The best and simplest exercise in the world is walking. A nice brisk walk for at least 1-5 miles a day is great. The second best is cycling. Stationary bikes are good, however, it is nothing like riding out into the world and breathing The Father’s fresh air and being closer to the rest of His creations. The more you move, the more the lymphs nodes circulate and the easier it is for the body to keep them clean.
If you go to the months of March(for the kidneys), May(colon & liver) & Nov. (cancer) in my blog, it will have suggestions for cleansing products to help in your quest. I feel you should use them all.
Keep me posted.
Peace & Love Forever!

Cancer
Uncle Chuckie, can anyone give me any information about cancer, particularly spinal cancer?
First we have to understand what is cancer or a cancer cell. Cancer is really a natural process where an overworked and weakened immune system cannot kill the cancerous cell as fast as it should and it continues to multiply. Toxins, carcinogens, radiation and some viruses, combined with an unhealthy internal environment in union with a weak immune system causes more cells to turn cancerous and allowing them to thrive. We must change our environment, internal and external, to make our internal environment a place where cancer can’t easily survive.
What makes cancer a natural process is that a cancer cell is a normal cell that is very low in oxygen and it does not have the proper communication with normal cells and start acting abnormally. This is why you hear health specialist and experts say cancer is abnormal cell activity. Many doctors unfortunately say that cancer is a proliferation of dead cells. If the cells are dead there would be no activity, no action. Cancer cells are active and the cells abnormal activity is due to the lack of oxygen and low alkaline level which means an excessive acid level. An very small percentage of cells in everyone turn cancerous and the body usually gets rid of them before they do any harm. It is when more cancerous cells are being created than the body can get rid of, that the problem is created. With increased toxins, viruses, carcinogens, etc. our immune systems have become drastically overworked and weakened.
The underlying cause of all cancer was, may have been, discovered by Otto Warburg over 50 years ago. He won two Nobel Prizes for work proving cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen respiration in cells. A nurse working in medical research said, “It is so simple. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. When working with cell cultures in the lab, if we want the cells to mutate, we turn down the oxygen, and to stop them from mutating, we turn the oxygen back up“.
Two doctors, Ma Lan and Joel Wallach point out that one type of white blood cells kills cancer cells by injecting oxygen creating hydrogen peroxide into the cells. So it makes sense to increase cellular oxygen levels and to detoxify the body so that more cells stay oxygenated.
Alkali solutions tend to absorb oxygen, while acids tend to expel oxygen. All body fluids, except the stomach and urine are supposed to be mildly alkaline. Stomach fluids remain acidic to digest foods and the urine must remain acidic to remove waste.
Unfortunately, chemotherapy is a man made chemical to try to destroy cancer cells and in doing so it destroys the immune system. As the immune system tries to rid the body of the foreign agent (chemo), it can’t rid the body of the cancerous cells. Radiation kills all of the cells. In the medical profession, the idea of destroying the cells where the cancerous cells are focused, thinking that the body will create new cells. The body needs energy and a normal immune system to produce new cells and how can that be done when the body and immune system is weak? They both deplete the cells of oxygen, in turn causes or lets the cancer cells thrive and multiply.
When insufficient mineral consumption is in the diet, the body is forced to rob Peter(other body fluids) to pay Paul(the blood). In doing so, it removes crucial minerals from the saliva, spinal fluids, kidneys, liver, etc.
The human body is made up of 78% water by weight, and that water is hydrogen and oxygen. Oxygen is essential to metabolize food and create energy.
There are many things we do or that happens in our lives that causes the low oxygen level in our bodies; smoking, hydrogenated oils and trans fats, sodium nitrite(found in processed meats), pesticides, chlorine, household cleaning products, perfumes, cosmetics, hair color and hair permanent chemicals, deodorant(aluminum), mineral oil, fluoride, refined/white sugar, white(bleached) wheat(grains) and white rice, preservatives, additives, food dyes, lack of exercise, shallow breathing, severe emotional and relationship stress, etc.
Some of the best ways to add oxygen into our bodies are to change our environment, internally and externally. Internally by eating raw foods, preferably organic. Eat green colored foods; kale, parsley, spinach, etc. Green foods are great alkaline foods saturated with nutrients.
Green and vegetable drinks(natural, without additives and preservatives).
Fruits like melons, dark berries(blue & blackberries, raspberries, goji, elderberry, etc.). Pure, natural fruit juices. Organic ginger will help the problems in the stomach.
Live foods. Live foods keep your body alive. Dead foods kill the body. If you eat meats cut down considerably and eliminate red meats. If you eat poultry, eat all nature(organic) poultry. Do not eat farm raised fish, only wild caught.
Oxygen therapy will help. A homemade way to oxygen therapy is adding sea salt, MSM sulfur and 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide to your bath and soak for an hour or so.
Blood cleansing herbs such as Echinacea, Goldenseal root, Chickweed, Yellow Dock, Red Clover, Burdock root and Dandelion root.
Immune boosting herbs include Astragalus, Ginseng, Pau D’ Arco, Cat’s Claw along with Echinacea & Goldenseal root and a few others.
Seaweeds are very oxygenating and alkalizing. The best are Super Blue Green Algae, Chlorella, Spirulina, Dulse, Irish Moss and Kelp. Seaweeds will eradicate the damaging effects of radiation.
Mushrooms are very healing. Use healing and therapeutic mushrooms; Reishi, Maitake, and Shitake. These mushrooms help dissolve tumor growth.
Water and hydrotherapy is great also. Drink alkaline and distilled water. Adding liquid chlorophyll will boost the oxygen level in the body and it is also a great internal body deodorant.
Colonics and enemas will rid your body of toxins. Aloe Vera juice is very soothing and healing to the colon. It is also alkalizing.
Deep belly breathing expands the diaphragm muscle, expanding the lung’s air pocket, massaging the lymphatic system. Start by lying on your back with a book on your stomach. Begin breathing by pushing the book up with your belly while breathing through your nose. Exhale through the mouth. Yoga and Tai Chi is great also.
Sweating rids the body of toxins. Saunas and hot sea salt baths induce sweating.
Exercise. Exercise is always important to keep the body functioning properly. Stretching works wonders too.
Reduce stress. Rid yourself of negative emotions. Positive thoughts are a plus. A lot of Christians will say, after they are diagnosed with a dis-ease, “I am not claiming this.” Positive affirmations are great too.
